The Club Managers Association of America (CMAA) invites you to attend a complimentary hour-long online educational presentation.

Topic: OSHA: New (and Newer) Regulations Impacting Clubs
Presenter: Alan Achatz, CCM, Club Safety Solutions, LLC
Date: Wednesday, January 7, 2015
Time:
2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time

OSHA may be visiting your club because YOU called them. Effective January 1, 2015, there are new Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations requiring you to call OSHA if you have an employee incident that requires medical treatment. In this webinar, Alan Achatz, CCM, of Club Safety Solutions, LLC, will share OSHA concerns for clubs. Among them are:

  • New Recordkeeping requirements
  • Temporary Worker Initiative
  • Recently revised Hazard Communication Standard
  • Written Safety policies required by OSHA
  • Frequently Cited OSHA standards at Clubs

If OSHA shows up at your club, their Compliance Safety and Health Officer will tell first tell you why they are at your club. Then may ask for your OSHA 300 and OSHA 300A logs; ask if you are using temporary workers; may request copies of your safety training records; and may even request written copies of the applicable OSHA policies the employees have been trained on. Not knowing the regulations that apply to your operation can cost you!

One CMAA Association Activity Credit will be awarded to those individuals who register and attend the entire program.

Register online. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you with instructions on how to join the live event. One Association Activity credit will be awarded to attendees who attend the entire webinar.
