North Sunshine Director

David Main has been the General Manager of Oceanside Country Club in Ormond Beach, Florida, since 2011. With 37 years in the private club industry, he has led five distinguished clubs across Atlanta, Chicago, Jacksonville, and Florida’s East Coast. Originally a Chemical Engineering major at Georgia Tech, David discovered his true passion for club management under the mentorship of legendary GM Chris Borders. He earned his CCM in 2000 and CCE in 2014, solidifying his expertise in the field.

David is a firm believer in a simple yet impactful club philosophy: "Have fun. Be nice. Say thank you." He values strong relationships with members, staff, and industry peers, ensuring clubs remain places of enjoyment and hospitality.

Married to Stacey, an elementary school teacher, for 27 years, David takes pride in his family. His son, Cooper, is an aerospace engineer in South Florida, while his daughter, Sydney, is a junior at UCF studying digital media. David’s own hobby is collecting and restoring both old and new pinball machines.
