Discover The Rhone Valley With the Wine Society The International Wine Society will be hosting Discover The Rhone Valley, a complimentary hour-long online educational presentation and virtual tasting. This session will be presented by Stewart Prato, CWE, FWS, Certified Sommelier, French Wine Import Manager - Southern California, for Southern Wine & Spirits on Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. EDT. Discover the differences between the Northern and Southern Rhone - traditional viticulture and viniculture, grape varieties, climate and the subtle differences which distinguish each Cru. There will be an array of fantastic wines sourced from benchmark producers that have been meticulously selected to express the nuances of the Southern and Northern Rhone Valley. One CMAA Association Activity Credit will be awarded to those individuals who register and attend the entire program. This webinar also includes a virtual tasting. Attendees are responsible for acquiring the following wines on their own for participation in the virtual tasting:
