Topic:The Scared Straight of Aquatics This fast-paced presentation focuses on the Standard of Care principles for the prevention, recognition and management of drowning and aquatic injuries and is a must for anyone with administrative or supervisory responsibilities for an aquatics facility, with or without lifeguard personnel. This program is presented by Gerald Dworkin, a professional Aquatics Safety and Water Rescue Consultant for Lifesaving Resources, a company dedicated to drowning and aquatic injury prevention and emergency management. Dworkin regularly consults as a Forensics Expert in drowning and aquatic injury litigation and has developed these principles after researching and consulting on more than 250 such cases throughout the US. One CMAA Association Activity Credit will be awarded to those individuals who register and attend the entire program.
