Food and beverage operations in a club are often misunderstood by board and committee members, chefs and employees who are new to club management. What works in a restaurant, fast food chains, a hotel or resort may not be best for your membership and ultimately your club's success. Many managers grow weary with the ever present question, "Why can't we make money in food and beverage?" Join Whitney Reid Pennell, President of RCS Hospitality Group, as she outlines why club food and beverage operations are different in a club. We will explore how these differences impact your departmental finances and the club's overall success. Whitney will share tips and key performance indicator variances to help you communicate these differences with your board, committees, chefs and employees.
